The Sky Is Crying

 

 

Looking at this sheet of paper,

Looks a lot like the sidewalk,

Wet spots from all the tears fallin,

Can’t even tell what I’ve written down,

 

My heart broke at 4:3somethin’ this morning,

The angels must have known,

Cuz even the sky’s been crying,

Since u’ve been gone,

 

Couldn’t even tell u what day it is,

Couldn’t tell u the time or the date,

Didn’t bring my umbrella,

All I could tell the boss, is I’m gonna be late,

 

And when he asked why…

Least now u aren’t suffering anymore,

And I know u’re in a better place,

U might have been ready,

But we weren’t ready,

We didn’t get the chance 2 plead our case,

 

Walked down the street this morning,

Looking up 2 heaven and knew,

That the angels are crying happy tears,

Cuz they gained another one.. in u,

 

And our hearts broke at 4:3somthin’ this moring,
